Best beaches of the Central Coast

  • Avoca Beach

    A popular surf beach lined with towering Norfolk Island Pines, Avoca Beach has a relaxed atmosphere which is sought after by locals and visitors alike. A large rock platform at the southern end of the beach invites exploration and a protected rock pool provides a playground for young children. Aquafun leisure boat hire provides opportunities for the hire of aquabikes, pedalcats, kayaks and surf skis.

  • Putty Beach

    Putty Beach is located at the northern end of Killcare Beach and is the southern starting point of the Bouddi Coastal Walk. This coastal hotspot is great for swimming, snorkelling, fishing and bushwalking.

  • Killcare Beach

    Killcare Beach is a picturesque 1.6 km beach bordered by the bushland of Bouddi National Park. It’s a great spot for surfing and swimming and has a lovely beach kiosk for a cool refreshment or a bite to eat.

  • Terrigal Beach

    One of the best-known beaches on the Central Coast, Terrigal Beach is a cosmopolitan seaside town, as popular with locals as it is with visitors. As well as two lovely beaches you’ll also find a vibrant town with pleantly of cafes, restaurants, boutique shops and cocktail bars.

  • Maitland Bay

    Maitland Bay is one of the most popular hidden beaches in Bouddi National Park. You can only get there by walking through the bush. And it’s worth it. The 900m track takes you through rock landings, gullies and deep rainforest.
